Celebrating our second anniversary is an important milestone for Women Beyond Measures. This evening represents two years of growth, service, community connection, and continued commitment to empowering women and strengthening families. It is an opportunity to reflect on how far we have come, celebrate the people and partnerships that have helped us grow, and look ahead to the next chapter of our work and impact.

Our 2nd Anniversary Celebration brings together film, food, conversation, networking, music, and community for a memorable red-carpet experience. Guests will enjoy an award-winning film, a director talk-back, dinner, mocktails, networking, and an 80s/90s-inspired celebration to close out the evening.

THE EXPERIENCE

DRAMA — FILM SCREENING

Join us for a special screening of the award-winning film Can You Stand the Rain.

The film explores friendship, relationships, loss, healing, dreams, and the experiences that shape us.

Following the screening, guests will have the opportunity to participate in a special talk-back and conversation with filmmaker Eden Marryshow, creating an opportunity to go beyond the film and engage in meaningful conversation about storytelling, life, relationships, and community.

Award-Winning Writer, Director, Actor & Producer

We are excited to welcome award-winning filmmaker Eden Marryshow as a special guest for this celebration.

Marryshow brings powerful, authentic storytelling to the screen, creating work centered around humanity, relationships, community, healing, and the experiences that connect us all.

Guests will have the opportunity to hear directly from the filmmaker during the evening’s talk-back experience.

DINE

Following the film and talk-back, guests will enjoy a buffet-style dinner and mocktail experience while connecting with fellow guests, community leaders, supporters, entrepreneurs, and partners.

This portion of the evening is designed for conversation, relationship-building, and community connection.

DANCE

We’re ending the night with a celebration!

Our Thrive initiatives focus on mental wellness, personal development, and life coaching, providing individuals with tools and support to navigate challenges, strengthen their confidence, and move forward with purpose.

ACTION ED

Action Ed focuses on education, college readiness, and workforce development, helping individuals prepare for educational opportunities, career advancement, and economic stability.

MOTHER’S BREAKTHROUGH

Mother’s Breakthrough provides motherhood support, case management, resource connection, and individualized support designed to help mothers navigate challenges while strengthening their families and their futures.
